How does HOYTS cater to people with visual disabilities?

HOYTS provides audio description facilities at select HOYTS cinemas. Audio description (AD) refers to an additional narration track for blind and visually impaired consumers of visual media. It consists of a narrator talking through the presentation, describing what is happening on the screen during the natural pauses in the audio, and sometimes during dialogue if deemed necessary. The accessible locations use the same DTS cinemas access system to enable the signal to be transferred to the headset worn by the user. Features that have (OCAD) prior to the film title have both the Open Caption and Audio Description available.
